1. Distance and Road Conditions

Distance is the biggest driver. A transfer to Kavos (45 km) naturally costs more than Corfu Town (3 km). But it is not just mileage. Mountain villages like Old Perithia or remote west-coast villas involve narrow, winding roads that increase driving time and fuel use. Operators price these toward the top of the range.

2. Vehicle Type and Group Size

A saloon fits up to 3 passengers with standard luggage. Once you hit 4 people, you move into minivan territory. Minibuses (8+ seats) are quoted on request because fewer are available and commercial licensing costs differ. If your group has bulky suitcases, golf clubs, bikes, or pushchairs, the operator may upsize the vehicle even if your headcount technically fits a saloon.

3. Time of Day

Most Corfu transfer companies apply a night supplement for pickups between 22:00 and 06:00. This compensates the driver for unsocial hours and the scarcity of late-running vehicles. Expect roughly €10–20 on top of the daytime rate.

4. Season and Demand

July and August are peak season. The best vehicles get reserved weeks ahead, and last-minute bookings often carry a premium. May, June, September, and October typically sit at the lower end of the ranges. Greek public holidays and Easter week can also create short spikes in demand.

Airport pickups are straightforward: one arrival hall, one meeting point. Port pickups (ferry or cruise terminal) can be trickier because of multiple gates, traffic restrictions, and parking fees. Some operators add a small port surcharge (€5–10). Villas down unmarked dirt tracks or inside old-town pedestrian zones require extra coordination and may nudge the price up slightly.
